Welcome!
Hi everyone! My name is Sephora Cruz Candelario. I am part of the MWWP Summer Institute 2012. I am currently teaching at Southwestern Educational Society also known as SESO. Teaching is my passion after my three children. I teach American Literature to tenth graders and AP English Literature and Composition to twelfth graders. Being a part of this project is exciting because it is a program where teachers teach teachers. Sharing ideas is an experience that fosters growth among the same professionals.
Teaching writing has always been my favorite part of teaching English. I firmly believe that using and developing our imagination can truly change the way we think about our surroundings.
I live in Mayaguez with my husband, son, and Gigi, our noisy Chihuahua. My daughters are both married; the oldest lives in Mayaguez and the youngest in Yauco.
